A man’s got to drink as well and I’ve been on the wagon for a week on account of antibiotics. I had a very minor operation a few weeks back but it involved a general anaesthetic so I didn’t drink for a whole day for the first time since Harold Wilson was Prime Minister.
But now, a whole week. I was quite interested to see what would happen. You’re supposed to have withdrawal symptoms, and cravings and finally to feel much better and to experience the world much more vividly.
