Fantastic occasion in the history of Bethesdabakers last week – the official launch of the Bethesda Sourdough Baking Institute.

First student on the two day Microbakin’ Course, Tim Lukehurst:

seen here with a Granary loaf baked on day two. Students are given the opportunity to scale up a favourite recipe and Tim chose a Tom Baker recipe. So the Granary replaced my Multigrain on the week’s bake and customers ordered lots of them.

It was a pleasure working with Tim. A man of many talents (sorted my computor) including bee keeping – brought along his own excellent honey for the Oat & Honey Special. Lucky people in Suffolk will soon be enjoying bread from his own Microbakery.
